Complete Build of a Unique Home

As an architect, Jennifer required a home to showcase her professional skills and reflect her personal tastes. Quite simply, form and function were equally important for this project.

With an exacting specification, Jennifer produced an ambitious set of plans that required the use of natural and environmentally friendly building materials with original design concepts.

An additonal challenge was that the home would have to blend into the existing environment due to increasingly strict planning regulations.

Innovative features included:

• 2 x 100mm stud walls insulated with hemp
• Lime based plasted on exterior walls
• Cedar wood fascia
